Here comes Peter Cottontail...

Hi!

Here is an Easter card and some Easter treats we'd made at our stamp camp a couple of weeks ago.  I absolutely LOVE everything about the Easter card: stamps, colors, DSP.  The card base is made with my favorite color - Baja Breeze.  I'll probably regret not getting the "Heaven Blessed" (Easter) stamp set, but I usually don't send out a lot of Easter cards.

The bunny face and chick were both made with a round chocolate mint in between layers, but a fellow stamper and neighbor made some with her granddaughter that had the square, bite size Snickers in them.   Yes, I kind of placed the bunny's cheeks too far apart.  Oh, well.  The second photo shows what I meant by layers and also the bunny's cute little tail!

Stay tuned for my next post.  The birthday card made at our stamp camp.  We used a really cool technique for a layer on the card.

So, we had our stamp class last night with friends and neighbors, and as always had a great time!  We made a card for St. Patrick's Day, Easter, a birthday card and two 3D items for Easter.  I will post all of these over the next few weeks.

Today's post will be of the card we made for St. Patrick's Day:

The outside -  clean and simple!  The frames are made with the new Framelits Dies - Labels Collection in the Occasions mini catalog.  L-O-V-E them = gotta get 'em!  Ha!

The inside of the card.  Again, very simple, but so cute!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!

Masculine card

Hi!  Today I am posting a masculine birthday card that I made recently.  Most of the time I find it difficult to make a card for a guy because I am concerned it will be too feminine.  This one fits the bill for a guy.  Darker colors, no ribbon, large "metal" brads.  What do you think?

Contact me (via the comments section below) with any questions on what products I used on this card.

There's Enchantment every day!

A card I recently made for a co-worker's birthday.  Recipe:  Paper-Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Everyday Enchantment DSP; Ink-Baja Breeze; Stamps-Mixed Bunch,Teeny Tiny Wishes, Other-Everyday Enchantment ribbon & brad pack, Punches-Blossom Punch, Modern Label.

Even though the "blue" is Pool Party, I thought I could get away with using the Baja Breeze since that's what I had on hand.  I really like how this card came out.  Thanks to Nicole Birtrand for the inspiration and Kriss Huels at StampwithKriss.com for posting Nicole's card.

Painting my craft room over the long weekend.  Actually my DD and her hubby are doing the work for me.  I just have to provide supper for them. Win-win for everybody!

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is right around the corner and I thought I'd make a little something for co-workers and also some young cousins and my nephew and nieces.  I got the idea from Angie Kennedy Juda at Chic 'n Scratch, http://www.mychicnscratch.com/2012/01/val.html, but I used an older stamp set, "Love You Much."  They came out really cute and I can't wait to share them.  I used Charms brand heart-shaped lollipops.

Happy New Year!

So much for wanting to post a couple more Christmas card ideas.  Time just got away from me.  Again.

I hope to post some new material soon.  Take care!
