Here comes Peter Cottontail...

Hi!

Here is an Easter card and some Easter treats we'd made at our stamp camp a couple of weeks ago.  I absolutely LOVE everything about the Easter card: stamps, colors, DSP.  The card base is made with my favorite color - Baja Breeze.  I'll probably regret not getting the "Heaven Blessed" (Easter) stamp set, but I usually don't send out a lot of Easter cards.

The bunny face and chick were both made with a round chocolate mint in between layers, but a fellow stamper and neighbor made some with her granddaughter that had the square, bite size Snickers in them.   Yes, I kind of placed the bunny's cheeks too far apart.  Oh, well.  The second photo shows what I meant by layers and also the bunny's cute little tail!

Stay tuned for my next post.  The birthday card made at our stamp camp.  We used a really cool technique for a layer on the card.

So, we had our stamp class last night with friends and neighbors, and as always had a great time!  We made a card for St. Patrick's Day, Easter, a birthday card and two 3D items for Easter.  I will post all of these over the next few weeks.

Today's post will be of the card we made for St. Patrick's Day:

The outside -  clean and simple!  The frames are made with the new Framelits Dies - Labels Collection in the Occasions mini catalog.  L-O-V-E them = gotta get 'em!  Ha!

The inside of the card.  Again, very simple, but so cute!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!

Masculine card

Hi!  Today I am posting a masculine birthday card that I made recently.  Most of the time I find it difficult to make a card for a guy because I am concerned it will be too feminine.  This one fits the bill for a guy.  Darker colors, no ribbon, large "metal" brads.  What do you think?

Contact me (via the comments section below) with any questions on what products I used on this card.
