Wow! Was that fun!

Some of my stamping neighbors and I went to the home of another Stampin' Up! demonstrator on Tuesday night for a card making class.  We made 3 Christmas cards and a Christmas tag.  It was so much fun to be able to sit back, relax and work on a project idea of someone else's.  Regina had our kits all organized and ready to go.  She had a very nice display set up, too, of some cards and 3D items that she has made recently.   It's fun to see what other demonstrators do with the stamp sets/colors that I have as well as things they make from sets that I don't own.  So, anyway, here are the cards and the tag that we made:

It's hard to see, but it's "bling" on the card, not brads.

L-o-v-e that Merry Christmas font!
Snowman tag.  Um,I could've centered the  blue and the
white scallop circles together a bit better!

Love the belly "button" on the snowman.
it has a white Top Note die cut inside
that is stamped with a snowflake.

Happy Veteran's Day!

Thank you to all of our Veteran's who provide us with the freedoms we have here in the U.S.  My thoughts have been with you all day!

I'd thought at an earlier date about having a class on 11/11/11 at 11:00 for a cost of $11.00, but it never came to be.  Ah, well.  I've got another 100 years to plan...

So, today I finished up a masculine birthday card that I had to get done for a friend's birthday this week.  He is a friend of a friend and turning the big 6-0, so I wanted to make an especially nice one.  He's a great guy and treats my friend like the queen she thinks she is.  HI, Princess!! *wink*

It's hard to tell from the pic, but I used Early Espresso paper, Very Vanilla and Brushed Gold cardstock.
Here is the card above with 2 other cards as well as a decorated envelope:

Enjoy!
